“URBAN RENAISSANCE” – Over two billion euros for city squares and facades – Inside Story

The Albanian government spent over 2 billion euros for Urban Renaissance. 600 million euros were spent only on the squares and facades of dead cities, while INSTAT declares that there are 678,000 poor people in Albania.
The square of Berat was redone after the underground parking was forgotten the first time and the 2 million dollars already spent ended up in the trash. Belshi Square is not made with resistant tiles as the project envisioned. UNESCO requests the suspension of the Gjirokastra bypass.
Who are the companies that are getting funded by the Urban Renaissance? Did the Urban Renaissance improved the life of the cities or was the money of the Albanians mismanaged?
