Airing of Investigative Documentary “Files in Arbitration” which treats one of the most important issues of high public interest such are the big losses of Albanian Government in the Arbitration Court, was followed by a very constructive round table. The table gathered main experts, lawyers, journalists and professionals working on this field. During the meeting was noticed the absence of the representative of State Advocacy which remains one of the main public institution in this process.
The focus of the discussion was contracts of Albanian Government with foreign investors, legislation in force, role of State Advocacy, involvement of politics, administration and corruption in arbitration matters. The key problems affecting the situation were identified and suggestions were provided by the experts and professionals in this regard. There is much to be done concerning the capacity building of State Advocacy staff and fight against corruption in all levels of public administration.
